Summary: |
| Program Managers (PMs) are highly technical leaders that blend vision, creativity, and evangelism to develop next-generation products. PMs are driven by a goal or vision that stretches beyond any single product or project. They are responsible for defining and driving the strategy, the architecture, and the team in order to achieve that vision. They are accountable for the delivery of products pertaining to their goal.
Technical and algorithmic prowess, adept communication skills, the ability to negotiate, and self-motivation are critical. PMs work with customers, developers, designers, and anyone who can help meet their goal. They gather requirements, define priorities, develop architectures, audit code, and drive anything that gets them closer to their goal.
PMs understand every aspect of the projects and products that are in their scope. They define the schedules and are responsible for meeting deadlines and delivering on expectations.

• Are you continually looking at how to make things better?
• Do you drill deep into problems that you don’t understand?
• Are you able to define highly technical concepts in a way your mom can understand?

| Experience/Education: |
| • Bachelors of Science, Computer Science Degree preferred
• 3+ years experience in leadership roles
• 3+ years experience in delivering projects on-time and exceeding expectations
• Ability to manage more than one project at a time
|
| Technical Skills: |
| • Deep understanding of object based methodologies • Ability to read and write modern programming languages (Java, HTML, Javascript, JSP, SQL, XSLT, etc.)
• Familiarity with Ajax, Struts, JAX-WS, Dojo, Jonas, JMS, CSS, XML, Linux.
• Ability to create technical specifications and design documents

| • Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to instruct and guide others
• Ability to be decisive while remaining open to new information and change
